Detoxification:

The Medical Staff comprised of both Psychiatrist and Internal Medicine Physicians, combine to provide a comprehensive approach to detoxification. Emphasis is placed on keeping the client safe and comfortable while educating them on the physical changes they will experience. The clinical team provides support through both nursing and therapy interventions. We also understand that the family's support and involvement in their loved one's treatment is important. Through educational sessions, clients and their families will participate in the recovery preocess by exploring behavioral and emotional changes, family dynamics and the disease concept of addiction.

Treatment:

In our Addictions Program we take into account the unique challenges and clinical issues specific to women. The milieu provides for individual, group and educational therapies. We believe that combining cognitive behavioral therapy, twelve-step facilitation therapy and chemical dependency education is critical to treating the complicated disease of addiction and its symptoms. Personal and distinct needs will be assessed as the individual begins the recovery process. Additionally, our trained staff will assist each client in developing an After Care plan of community resources that will provide support and sustain recovery. The Psychiatrist and the Internist will continue working closely with clients to ensure that their emotional and physical needs are met.
